The Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division at the College of Engineering at Al-Qadisiyah University held a comparative evaluation conference for the years 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 in the college’s main hall. Professor Qasim Kazim Hamid lectured.
The conference aimed to evaluate the College of Engineering’s performance by comparing two academic years. It included three main sections: the first, a historical overview of the College of Engineering; the second, evaluation themes; and the third, future plans and prospects.
The conference issued several recommendations, including financial support and moral encouragement for researchers, publication of their research in international journals and referenced in scientific forums; participation in international conferences and seminars; full support for the college to obtain international accreditation (ABET); sufficient support to finance the purchase of laboratory equipment; and efforts to achieve scientific twinning for the College of Engineering with other universities.
