As part of the scientific and applied activities of the College of Archaeology at Al-Qadisiyah University, undergraduate students participated in a scientific and technical workshop entitled “Pottery Making Methods.” The workshop was held at the Museum of Arts and Antiquities, affiliated with the University Presidency.
The workshop aimed to train students on practical methods of pottery making and introduce them to the use and adaptation of clay in Mesopotamian civilizations to produce various household and artistic items. It was also used in food preservation and the manufacture of seals, statues, and clay sculptures.
This participation is part of the college’s efforts to enhance the applied aspect of archaeological study and enable students to gain practical experience that contributes to understanding ancient techniques and their application in archaeological research. Hadith
