The Department of Road and Transportation Engineering at the College of Engineering at Al-Qadisiyah University organized a specialized training course for third-year civil engineering students titled “Traffic Intersections.” Assistant Lecturer Rania Ali Badr lectured.
The course aimed to enhance students’ theoretical knowledge in the field of traffic engineering and provide them with the practical skills necessary to analyze and design intersections.
It also addressed the basic concepts of traffic intersections, reviewing their various types and the engineering design objectives that ensure the highest standards of traffic safety and smooth traffic flow within cities. The course also focused specifically on analyzing intersection conflict points and the best engineering and administrative methods used to control and manage them. Effectively
