Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kallaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Dentistry held a training course entitled “Using Artificial Intelligence in Research Submissions and Correspondence to Scientific Journals.” M.M. The course aimed to provide researchers and graduate students with the practical skills necessary to select the appropriate journal using publishing house research tools. It also aimed to leverage artificial intelligence techniques in preparing publication files such as cover letters, highlights, conflicts of interest, and author contributions. It also provided participants with familiarity with and adherence to the author guide for each journal. It also provided training on preparing scientific responses to editors and reviewers and drafting response files in a professional manner.
The course recommended the use of artificial intelligence in accordance with international standards as a helpful tool to reduce effort and time, while avoiding any form of plagiarism, and ensuring its responsible and ethical use, enhancing the quality of scientific research.
