The College of Education at Al-Qadisiyah University participated in the Seventh International Scientific Conference on the Humanities and Social Sciences, organized by the International Federation of Historians in partnership with the College of Political Science at the University of Kufa, under the theme:
(Intercultural Communication… The Role of the Humanities in Promoting Understanding and World Peace).
The conference was attended by a select group of academics and researchers from Iraqi and Arab universities.
The College of Education’s participation included the presence of Professor Dr. Alaa Ahmed, Head of the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences, representing the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Sattar Hamid Al-Janabi, and Professor Dr. Haider Jassim from the Department of History. More than 90 qualitative research papers were also presented from Iraqi universities, the University of Nizwa in the Sultanate of Oman, the University of Oran in Algeria, the University of Sidi Mohammed V in the Maghreb, and the Lebanese University in Beirut.
The conference topics covered a variety of disciplines, ranging from educational, psychological, and sports sciences to literature, languages, sociology, arts, philosophy, anthropology, media, history, political science, geography, law, economics, management, globalization, and Islamic sciences.
The conference concluded after the scientific sessions with a ceremony honoring the supporters, participants, and organizers.
