Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kallaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Dentistry held a training course entitled “The Correct Method for Completing a Referral Form and How to Use Surgical Instruments.” The course was presented by M.Sc. Zahraa Al-Zamili and M.Sc. Zahraa Jawad
The course aimed to develop students’ skills in dealing with new medical cases according to modern scientific methods. It also aimed to enhance the practical aspect through direct practical training with patients or virtual cases. It also aimed to improve the efficiency of clinical communication between doctor and patient in accordance with ethical and professional standards. It also aimed to enable participants to make sound, evidence-based treatment decisions and prepare students capable of facing daily clinical challenges with confidence and competence.
The course recommended the need to commit to active participation in all workshop sessions, not just watching. It also recommended applying the skills acquired from the workshop practically in university clinics to enhance the practical aspect. It also recommended documenting observations during training and referring to them when encountering similar cases.
