Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Rahi Kalf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Dhurgham Majeed Hamid Al-Fatlawi, Dean of the College of Nursing, the College of Nursing held a scientific symposium entitled “The Importance of Women’s Role in Society.” Presented by Asst. Dr. Dalal Zamat Hamza and Eng. Alia Khadir Abbas and M.P. Hajar Haider Saadoun
The symposium aimed to enhance the active role of women in building prosperous and just societies. It highlighted their vital contributions to the economy, leadership, and political participation. Their essential role in healthcare as specialists and caregivers is also highlighted. To empower women to lead, training, mentorship opportunities, and support must be provided to break down institutional barriers.
