Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Professor Dr. Munir Abdul Amir, the Anatomy Department at the College of Veterinary Medicine organized a training course entitled “Preparing Histological Sections.” Assistant Professor Dr. Fatima Sawadi Zgheir lectured.
The course aimed to provide participants with scientific and practical knowledge of tissue sectioning techniques and the preparation of histological slides, highlighting their vital role in the histological diagnosis of diseases.
The most important recommendations emphasized the importance of adopting the technique of preparing histological sections, given its effective role in accurately diagnosing tissue diseases. The recommendations emphasized the need to adhere to the concentrations of the solutions used and the duration of their use, in accordance with approved scientific standards, to ensure the quality of the histological slides prepared for study.
