Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Rahi Kalf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education, Professor Sattar Hamid Hamza Al-Janabi, the Women’s Affairs Unit, in cooperation with the Media and Government Communication Division at the College of Education at Al-Qadisiyah University, organized a seminar entitled “The Role of Women in Society: A Future Vision.” Presented by Asst. Zaman Hassan Abis Al-Jalihawi and Asst. Fatima Saeed Hamza.
The seminar aimed to highlight the pivotal roles women play in various fields and explore the future of their participation in community development and decision-making, with a focus on the challenges they face and mechanisms for their political, economic, and social empowerment.
The most important recommendations include the need to develop legislation that supports women’s rights, support awareness-raising programs, and strengthen partnerships between state institutions and civil society organizations to empower women and open new horizons for them in all fields.
