Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Rahi Kalf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Munir Abdul Amir Abdul Fatlawi, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, the Department of Veterinary Public Health held a seminar on mycotoxin control. The seminar was presented by Professor Dr. Muhammad Abdul Abbas Malaghi.

The seminar aimed to introduce methods used to reduce the impact of mycotoxin contamination of poultry feed, which causes a decline in production, impacts the quality of products, causes significant losses in the poultry industry, and affects consumer health.

The seminar recommended implementing basic programs to control mycotoxin-forming fungi in feed, such as Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) procedures to reduce contamination. Traditional chemical, biological, and physical methods can also be used to remove toxins after contamination
