The College of Engineering at Al-Qadisiyah University organizes a specialized workshop on the scanning electron microscope (SEM).

As part of its ongoing efforts to promote scientific research and develop the practical skills of its students and faculty members, the College of Engineering at Al-Qadisiyah University organized a specialized workshop entitled “Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM)”. The workshop was held in the Continuing Education Unit Hall. M.M. Ali Abdul Hamid Rajeh

The workshop aimed to provide a modern educational and research environment that keeps pace with scientific and technological developments and contributes to the preparation of highly qualified engineering cadres capable of keeping pace with the labor market and advanced research fields.

The workshop also covered the basic principles of scanning electron microscopy and its advanced uses in analyzing the microscopic structures of materials with high precision. It also reviewed typical sample preparation techniques and the importance of this type of microscope in engineering and applied science fields, such as materials engineering, nanoengineering, environmental engineering, and biomedicine
