Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Rahi Kalf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Munir Abdul Amir Abdul Fatlawi, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, the Department of Internal and Preventive Medicine at the college completed a training course on using CLC sequences viewer 8 to analyze molecular sequence data. The course aimed to introduce the latest electronic programs that communicate directly with the internet for the purpose of analyzing genetic sequence data from strains isolated by researchers or graduate students, conducting all analyses, and testing this data using this program.
The course recommended the wider use of the above program and linking it with other programs that perform similar tasks, given its scientific importance in the initial and extensive examination of results before they are registered globally. The program also focuses on demonstrating the degree of convergence and divergence of genetic genes, and constructing genetic trees with a high accuracy rate of up to 97% compared to other electronic programs.
