The symposium aimed to raise awareness of the impact of psychological and social trauma on women, whether resulting from the family environment, society, or wars, as well as to highlight the challenges women face during the stages of psychological and social recovery.
The symposium recommended the provision of specialized psychological support services for women affected by trauma and the establishment of community centers that contribute to their psychological and professional rehabilitation. It also recommended integrating psychological awareness programs into educational and community institutions, and strengthening laws that protect women from violence and trauma.
