The College of Veterinary Medicine at Al-Qadisiyah University holds a discussion session on virus-like molecules.

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Rahi Kalf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Munir Abdul Amir Abdul Fatlawi, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, the Department of Physiology, Biochemistry, and Pharmacology at the college held a discussion session on virus-like molecules. Assistant Professor Dr. Dham’a Kazim Madloul presented the session.
The session aimed to inform attendees of the importance of molecules that resemble viruses in their external structure, but lack the ability to infect due to the absence of viral genetic material. At the same time, they stimulate immunity against a specific virus from which a virulence factor has been selected.
The session recommended the necessity of conducting predictive bioinformatics studies prior to laboratory experiments, which increases the level of accuracy of scientific research related to the development of modern vaccines.
