Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Rahi Kalf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Munir Abdul Amir Abdul Fatlawi, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, the Department of Veterinary Microbiology at the college held a discussion session on insect control programs. Professor Dr. Munir Abdul Amir Al-Fatlawi lectured.
The session aimed to identify the most important methods of insect control and reducing the transmission of diseases, as well as their role in transmitting parasites to humans and animals.
The session recommended the need to combat insects using pesticides, paying attention to personal hygiene, using sterile water, and washing fruits and vegetables thoroughly.
