Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Rahi Al-Yasiri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Dhurgham Majeed Hamid Al-Fatlawi, Dean of the College of Nursing, the College of Nursing held a scientific course entitled “Error and Negligence in the Nursing Profession.” Assistant Professor Hoda Abdul Sattar lectured. The course aimed to raise awareness among nursing staff and students of the importance of adhering to professional and ethical standards in providing healthcare. It also highlighted the concept of error and negligence in nursing practice and its impact on patients and healthcare institutions. The course also addressed several topics, including defining error and negligence in the nursing context, presenting the legal and ethical concepts related to error and negligence in the nursing profession, and the types of common errors in nursing practice.
