Under the supervision of Professor Dr. Munir Abdul Amir Abdul Fatlawi, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, the Department of Internal Medicine at the college held a training course entitled “Diagnosis and Treatment of Fungal Infections in Cats.” The course was presented by Eng. Dhafar Rashid Hamid Al-Fatli. The course aimed to familiarize participants with the most common types of fungal infections in cats, as well as methods for diagnosing and treating fungal infections in cats. The course recommended the need to diagnose fungal infections in cats and conduct the necessary laboratory tests to determine the type of fungus causing the infection, thus providing appropriate treatment for the affected animal.
