Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Rahi Kalf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Munir Abdul Amir Abdul Fatlawi, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, the College’s Common Diseases Research Unit held a discussion session entitled “Strange Fish Species: The Black Sea Monster Fish.” Assistant Professor Dr. Nuha Qasim Muhammad presented the session. The session aimed to shed light on one of the strange and uncommon species of fish that live in the depths of the seas and oceans, and to provide an overview of the strangest marine creatures found in the depths of the aquatic environment. The session recommended conducting numerous studies and research on strange marine creatures to introduce people to the wonders of God’s creation and to introduce this strange animal and other creatures. The session included a presentation on the classification of this species of fish, as well as a full description of the shape and habits of this marine creature, including its strange and frightening appearance, which led to its nickname “the Black Sea Monster” due to its sharp fang-like teeth.
