The Department of Road and Transportation Engineering at the College of Engineering at Al-Qadisiyah University organized a scientific workshop entitled “Test Map and Examination of Ease and Discrimination Coefficients for Multiple-Choice Tests” in the Continuing Education Unit Hall. Eng. Abdul Samad Adnan Lafta lectured.
The workshop aimed to introduce participants to the concept of the test map and its importance in constructing effective objective tests. It also provided them with the knowledge and skills necessary to examine and analyze test items using ease and discrimination coefficients, thus contributing to improving the quality of tests and ensuring their validity and reliability.
The workshop also addressed several topics, including educational and evaluative aspects related to the quality of test construction, the test map (Table of Specification), its definition, and its role in constructing a balanced test. It also discussed how to prepare it to adequately cover educational objectives and content, as well as linking the levels of objectives (cognitive, applied, analytical, etc.) and the number of questions at each level.
