Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Rahi Kalf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Munir Abdul Amir Abdul Fatlawi, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, the Common Diseases Research Unit at the college held a discussion session entitled (Pets and Their Relationship to the Transmission of Parasitic Diseases to Humans: Prevention and Treatment). Assistant Lecturer Osama Hadi Saleh presented the session. The session aimed to identify the most important parasitic diseases transmitted to humans through pets (domestic animals). The session also included parasitic diseases, their transmission from animals to humans, symptoms of infection in humans, and methods of treatment and prevention.
