Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Rahi Kalf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Munir Abdul Amir Abdul Fatlawi, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, the Department of Anatomy and Histology at the college held a scientific workshop on the dangers of using steroids. Assistant Professor Dr. Zeina Hadi Abbas presented the workshop. The workshop addressed the definition of steroids, their types in general, and the motivations for their use. It also addressed the physical, psychological, and behavioral harms of steroids, as well as the legal and ethical aspects of steroids. The workshop recommended raising awareness of their dangers, enhancing self-confidence, focusing on health, sleep, and nutrition, and seeking psychological help when needed.
