The College of Engineering at Al-Qadisiyah University organizes a scientific course on Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

The Office of Scientific and Consulting Services at the College of Engineering at Al-Qadisiyah University, in cooperation with the Iraqi Foundation for Research and Analysis and Development (IFAD), organized a scientific course entitled (Geographic Information Systems GIS). The course was delivered by Senior Engineer Ali Sahib Shadhan and Senior Engineer Mukhallad Mu’ayyad Abdul Razzaq. The course aimed to train planning employees in government departments on the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) program and create databases that include the work of all departments. The course also included (13) lectures to train on installing the (GIS) program and learning how to create a database and enter data and layers related to networks (roads, water, electricity, and schools).
