The College of Veterinary Medicine at Al-Qadisiyah University held a workshop entitled “The Role of Administrative Oversight in Combating Corruption.” The workshop was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Abdul Jari, Assistant Professor Ban Abdul Kadhim Abdul Ali, and Ms. Dunya Hussein Haydour. The workshop aimed to spread the values ​​of integrity and transparency and raise community awareness of the dangers of corruption. It also aimed to enhance job commitment in accordance with the provisions of the law and improve integrity and transparency in state institutions. The workshop addressed the mechanism of the oversight role in state institutions and its relationship to combating corruption. The workshop emphasized the need to ensure the role of administrative oversight. The workshop covered several topics, including the concept of administrative oversight and the scope of its powers; uncovering financial, administrative, and technical violations committed by employees while performing their duties; and cooperation, coordination, and the exchange of expertise, documents, and information with state oversight bodies and agencies and relevant anti-corruption bodies.
