Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Al-Qadisiyah University, Assistant Professor Dr. Bashir Shaker Al-Awadi, and Mr. Ahmed Khurbat Al-Jalihawi, Director General of Al-Qadisiyah Education, and in cooperation with the General Directorate of Education in Al-Qadisiyah Governorate, a training workshop in sports medicine was organized entitled “First Aid for Critical Cases and Rehabilitative Sports Medicine in the Life-Scape.” The workshop included an opening ceremony on the first day, followed by a short theatrical presentation on “Legal Protection for First Aid Workers,” and an awareness lecture by Dr. Ahmed Khurbat Al-Jalihawi, Director General of Al-Qadisiyah Education, on “Legal Methods for Protecting First Aid Workers,” and “First Aid for Critical Cases: Practical Application and How to Deal with Commonly Occurring Cases.” The Iraqi Red Crescent Society team was represented by Mr. Hassan Sabri Sarhan, First Aid Trainer and Volunteer Coordinator.
