A scientific workshop at the College of Dentistry at Al-Qadisiyah University addressed the causes of intellectual extremism and ways to confront it.

Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jaber Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, the College of Dentistry held a scientific workshop entitled “Causes of Intellectual Extremism and Ways to Confront It” as part of the activities of the Central Conference on Combating Intellectual Terrorism. Assistant Professor An’ad Al-Na’ili presented the workshop. The workshop aimed to define this term and the ideas characterized by extremism, explain the causes of intellectual deviation, and address them. The workshop recommended the need to develop effective strategies to prevent and confront the phenomenon of intellectual extremism by decision-makers, and to activate the role of religious, educational, cultural, and media institutions in highlighting the seriousness of extremism in all its forms and manifestations.
