The College of Veterinary Medicine at Al-Qadisiyah University holds a workshop on raising awareness of the culture of integrity, transparency, and accountability.

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Kadhim Jabr Al-Jubouri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Munir Abdul Amir Abdul Fatlawi, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, the College’s Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Unit held a workshop entitled “Raising Awareness of the Culture of Integrity, Transparency, and Accountability.” The workshop featured lecturers Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdul Jari, Asst. M. Sebahi Jawad Adhab, and Senior Legal Advisor Dunya Hussein. The seminar was moderated by Asst. M. Sari Razzaq. The workshop aimed to raise awareness among the academic community, including faculty, students, and administrators, by introducing integrity and transparency, explaining how they achieve their goals and combating corruption. The workshop recommended that promoting transparency and integrity in higher education institutions is a comprehensive process that requires cooperation among all parties. Clear policies must be established, appropriate technology implemented, and oversight and accountability mechanisms activated, along with training and awareness-raising to ensure everyone is aware of the importance of these values. Achieving this will improve the quality of education, build community confidence in academic institutions, and reduce corruption in higher education.
