Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kadhim Jabr Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Assistant Professor Dr. Bashir Shaker Al-Awadi, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, in cooperation with the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, held a scientific workshop entitled “Artificial Intelligence and Its Uses in Sports Training.” Professor Dr. Akram Hussein Jabr and Assistant Professor Dr. Alaa Ta’ima presented at the workshop. The workshop aimed to highlight the importance of artificial intelligence in sports training. It also addressed ethical considerations and concerns related to the use of artificial intelligence in sports training. It also addressed practical applications of artificial intelligence in sports training. The workshop concluded with a discussion of the future uses of artificial intelligence in sports training. The workshop recommended the need to pay attention to artificial intelligence and invest in its enormous potential in sports training. It also recommended organizing similar workshops to raise awareness and educate about the use of artificial intelligence in university academic settings.
