The College of Fine Arts at Al-Qadisiyah University holds a symposium on autism spectrum disorder and societal challenges.

Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kadhim Jabr Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Professor Dr. Kadhim Nowair Al-Zubaidi, the College of Fine Arts, in cooperation with the Student Activities Department at the University and the Commission for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in Diwaniyah, held an awareness seminar entitled (Autism Spectrum Disorder and Societal Challenges). Mr. Nadhir Mayouf lectured at the seminar. The seminar addressed the concept of autism and presented an overview of this disorder, its causes, the most important scientific methods for diagnosing it, and how to deal with those afflicted with this disorder. It also presented the most important challenges and difficulties faced by the afflicted person and his family, who are the most important part of his training, rehabilitation, and social integration.
