The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the College of Engineering at Al-Qadisiyah University organized a scientific course entitled “Using the Engineering Software ANSYS in Mechanical Engineering Applications” in the Continuing Education Hall. The course was presented by Asst. Dr. Muhammad Yassin Shaker and Asst. Dr. Haider Muhammad Abbas.
The course aimed to review the engineering software used in engineering in general and to enable participants to use the ANSYS software to conduct various engineering analyses in mechanical engineering, such as structural, thermal, and flow analysis. It also aimed to develop their skills in designing and analyzing engineering models accurately and efficiently.
The course issued several recommendations, including mastering the use of the ANSYS software in various fields of engineering analysis, the ability to prepare accurate simulation models, and analyze the results professionally. It also recommended continuing training on advanced models, such as dynamic and flow analysis (CFD), as well as adopting ANSYS as a primary tool in engineering projects and scientific research.
