The College of Science at Al-Qadisiyah University completes a training course on support techniques for people with special needs.

Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kadhim Jabr Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Professor Dr. Salwan Ali Obaid Al-Hamzawi, the Psychological Counseling and Social Guidance Unit at the College of Science completed a course entitled “Support Techniques for People with Special Needs.” The course was presented by Prof. Dr. Habib Wasil Kazim, Asst. Taif Mazhar Muslim, Asst. Shorouk Mohammed Abd, and Asst. Amal Abdul Razzaq Nashi.
The course aimed to introduce students to the term “people with special needs” and the most important communication techniques used, such as photo dictation, Braille, and audio browsers.
The course concluded with several recommendations, the most important of which was the integration of people with special needs into community activities and development programs to develop their skills like other people and restore their self-confidence.
