Under the patronage and presence of Professor Dr. Kazem Jaber Al-Jubouri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and the supervision of Professor Dr. Star Abdul Hassan Al-Fatlawi, Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, in cooperation with Professor Dr. Star Hamid Al-Janabi, Dean of the College of Education, Al-Qadisiyah University organized a specialized workshop on the laboratory equipment platform in the Al-Biruni Hall in the Chemistry Department of the College of Education, presented by the authorized personnel from our university:
– Professor Dr. Mai Jalil Abdul
– Assistant Professor Huda Kazem Mohsen
The workshop included an introduction to the laboratory equipment platform and its role in maximizing the resources of Iraqi universities and protecting their equipment from obsolescence, as well as identifying defective equipment to provide a specific mechanism for periodic maintenance and the rate of obsolescence to determine its efficiency of use and its role in managing laboratory equipment in the Ministry of Education and its formations, as well as state institutions and the private sector.
The workshop recommended the importance of ensuring the efficiency of laboratory equipment performance before uploading it to the platform to guarantee accurate results required for conducting robust research, and the role of the platform in encouraging laboratories belonging to the private sector, colleges, and private universities to participate in providing services through their equipment with fixed fees set by the Ministry of Education to support scientific research, as well as exchanging and sharing all the capabilities of laboratories in the state for the public good.
