Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Nabil Imran Al-Khalidi, Dean of the College of Arts, the Department of Arabic Language at the College of Arts held a discussion session titled (Corruption between Diagnosis and Prohibition, a Reading from the Quranic Perspective) presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Salah Hassoun Jabbar.
The aim of the discussion session was to inform attendees about the role of the Holy Quran in diagnosing the phenomenon of corruption and its manifestations, along with guidance and direction against it due to its negative impact on the lives of individuals and society. The Holy Quran is the constitution of life and the title of the Muslim’s identity, and it has accurately encompassed and clarified all matters concerning human life and their impact on it, including the negative effects of the phenomenon of corruption in society.
The discussion session concluded with a set of recommendations, including raising participants’ awareness of the effects of the phenomenon of corruption in society and the role of the Holy Quran in diagnosing, prohibiting, and combating it, as well as recommending the holding of seminars, workshops, and discussion sessions focused on introducing the phenomenon of corruption and its negative effects on individuals and society, and following mechanisms to limit and combat it religiously, intellectually, and through media.
