Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Kazim Jabr Al-Jubouri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Munir Abdul Amir Abdul Fatlawi, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, the Department of Anatomy and Histology at the college held a training course on the use of resin in veterinary anatomy. The course featured lecturers from Prof. Dr. Samir Ahmed Abdul Redha, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hassanein Ali Al-Sharout, and Asst. Prof. Safiya Karim Wali.
The course aimed to demonstrate the use of resin in the preparation of anatomical specimens. The course also included an introduction and uses of resin for anatomy and histology professors.
The course recommended focusing on using resin in the appropriate volume for the sample whose blood flow is to be determined or preserved, and on preparing the appropriate quantity of this material to ensure rapid hardening and avoiding delays in handling it, which could negatively impact the quality of the sample.
