The President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kadhim Jabr Al-Jubouri, received a delegation from the Diwaniyah Health Department in his office. The delegation included Mr. Wael Abboud Abbas from the Office of the Director General of Diwaniyah Health Follow-up and Mr. Fadhel Abdul Amir Nour, Director of the Health Promotion Division in the Public Health Department of the Diwaniyah Health Department. The delegation discussed mechanisms for developing the sub-health center on campus.
The meeting included discussions on development and modernization, with the goal of opening a larger main health center that would accommodate a number of medical service units, a larger supply of treatments, a fully equipped staff of doctors and nurses, an ambulance, and a medical unit for treating emergency cases.
The delegation also visited the sub-health center located in the College of Education on campus and observed its progress on the ground.
The project aims to expand the scope of medical and therapeutic services provided by the Diwaniyah Health Department to university students and staff on campus.
