The College of Physical Education and Sports Science organized a scientific workshop titled “The Electronic System for Academic Promotions,” presented by Prof. Dr. Ali Mahdi Hadi and Dr. Dhafer Thamer Ahmed Al-Hajim, with the session chaired by Ms. Rana Mohammed Ghali. The workshop includes several key axes related to the implementation of the electronic system, which operates in a secure environment characterized by high-efficiency servers protected by the latest cybersecurity technology. The system stores promotion requests (data and files) in a centralized location, allowing access to requests at any time along with detailed reports. One of the goals of the electronic system for academic promotions and scientific titles (Professor – Assistant Professor – Lecturer) is to provide automatic support for the applicant’s promotion request, the method of submitting the application and its attachments according to the promotion regulations, and to provide the applicant with notifications regarding the stages of electronic processing.
