The College of Physical Education and Sports Science organized a scientific course titled “Fundamentals of Computers and Their Applications,” presented by both M. Rasha Abbas and M.M. Karar Talal.
The course aimed to familiarize participants with the stages of development of computer components and to understand the components of computers and their applications in administrative and practical fields to keep pace with development and use the latest technologies in sports and scientific specializations.
The course included discussions on hardware and software components of computers, how to address electronic problems, and the most important administrative and scientific applications and how to use them.
The course concluded that there is a necessity to use modern methods in developing administrative and scientific skills and to be familiar with applications, tools, and data transfer methods.
The course recommended increasing electronic skills and establishing a mechanism for developing trainees, as well as raising awareness of the importance of electronic means in the administrative process and building confidence in their use.
