Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jaber Al-Jubouri, and in the presence of the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Star Al-Fatlawi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education, Professor Dr. Star Hamid Hamza Al-Janabi, the Department of Qur’anic Sciences and Islamic Education at the College of Education at Al-Qadisiyah University held a seminar titled “The Miracle between the Qur’anic Meaning and the Genetic Cellular Meaning,” featuring lectures by Professor Dr. Abbas Amir Ma’araz and Professor Dr. Ahmed Jassim, with the seminar managed by Professor Dr. Maki Farhan Karim.
This seminar is considered the first of its kind, both in terms of its methodological approach and its content. It presents two scientific issues from two different fields of knowledge: the field of biology and the field of the Holy Qur’an. This is its methodological uniqueness, working within what is called interdisciplinary knowledge and studies. In terms of content, the lecturers conducted a new scientific comparison at the level of Iraqi, Arab, and Islamic university studies between the structural composition of the living (human) cell and the structural composition of the earth. This is its novelty in terms of scientific content.
