The Public Law Department at the College of Law at Al-Qadisiyah University held a scientific seminar titled (Ways to Reduce the Spread of Drug Addiction), featuring presentations by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Hamdallah and Asst. Prof. Dr. Leila Hamza Radi.
The seminar aimed to raise student awareness about the dangers of drugs and their spread among members of society, as well as the prevalence of other substances known as digital drugs.
The seminar concluded that digital drugs are still a subject of debate regarding their classification as psychoactive substances, considering that the latter must have a physical existence, whereas digital drugs are regarded as intangible rather than tangible. However, some argue that digital drugs represent a form of psychoactive substances as they produce the same effects as traditional psychoactive substances.
