The Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Arts at Al-Qadisiyah University organized an awareness campaign titled “The Role of the Family in Social Upbringing.” This event is part of the implementation of the third national plan for women, security, and peace, focusing on participation and institutional reform.
The campaign aimed to educate students about the role of social upbringing for children by instilling sound social standards, prevailing customs, behaviors, and values, and demonstrating their role in determining patterns of human behavior and aspects of social relationships, so they can become good members of society and steer clear of incorrect social upbringing methods such as neglect, authoritarianism, excessive pampering, overprotection, leniency in punishments, or excessive harshness, discrimination, and inequality among children, incorrect comparisons, and imposing strict cleanliness and health rules.
