Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, the Women’s Affairs Unit held an educational seminar entitled (Early Detection of Breast Cancer), presented by Assistant Lecturer Noor Jalawi Jabbar and Assistant Professor Dr. Noha Shakir Abd.
The seminar aimed to raise awareness about the importance of early detection of breast cancer, its impact on improving healing chances, reducing mortality rates, and educating women and medical staff on how to perform self-examinations.
The seminar recommended that women prioritize regular self-examinations and undergo periodic medical check-ups, as well as provide psychological and social support programs for affected and recovering women.
