Under the sponsorship of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jabir Al-Jubouri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Professor Dr. Kazem Nweir Al-Zubaidi, the College of Fine Arts at Al-Qadisiyah University conducted a scientific workshop titled “Reliability and Total Quality.” The workshop was presented by Assistant Lecturer Ali Sahib Noor.
The workshop aimed to clarify the concepts of “reliability and total quality,” and then discuss the differences between them and the most important standards followed to achieve them. Reliability refers to the ability of a product, institutional system, educational process, or others to perform its required function continuously and reliably over a specific period and under defined operating conditions. In other words, the higher the reliability, the lower the likelihood of malfunctions or failures.
The workshop recommended the necessity of focusing on reliability to ensure uninterrupted performance, while total quality seeks to improve the quality of the product or institutional service from all aspects. Reliability can also be considered part of total quality, as it contributes to improving the institution’s reliability and gaining trust.
