Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Kadhim Jabr Al-Jubouri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Dhurgham Majeed Hamid Al-Fatlawi, Dean of the College of Nursing, the College of Nursing held a scientific course entitled “The Stage of Aging,” presented by Asst. Mohammed Jamil Wahab. The course aimed to improve the quality of life of the elderly by understanding the physical, psychological, and social changes they undergo, providing appropriate care, and enhancing their independence and well-being. It also included several topics, including health awareness, which covered the biological changes associated with aging, such as weakened immunity, osteoporosis, and heart disease, which helps in taking preventive measures.
