Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Kazem Jabir Al-Jubouri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Munir Abdul Amir Abdul Fattah, the Microbiology Department at the college held a workshop on the diagnosis and treatment of endemic and cross-border diseases, presented by Dr. Aliyah Abdul Hussein Karim and Biologist Amina Alaa Abdul Aziz.
The workshop aimed to enhance cooperation among health entities to combat endemic and cross-border diseases and to exchange experiences on early diagnosis and effective treatment. It also sought to raise awareness of the importance of epidemiological surveillance and the implementation of appropriate preventive measures.
The workshop recommended intensifying epidemiological monitoring efforts and enhancing joint research on cross-border diseases, in addition to improving health infrastructure. It also recommended developing collaborative strategies to combat the spread of these diseases more efficiently.
