In the presence of the Dean of the College of Nursing at Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Dhirgham Majid Hamid Al-Fatlawi, and Mr. Salah Mahdi, Head of the Department of Basic Medical Sciences, the department organized a laboratory training activity in the subject of practical physiology for first-year students, aimed at enhancing their practical skills and preparing them to handle various laboratory procedures. The training activity was supervised by Dr. Hassanein Riyad Abdul-Kadhim, Assistant Lecturer Lina Abdul-Kadhim, and Assistant Lecturer Ansam Fouad Ahmed.
Students were trained on several essential skills, including blood drawing, where they learned how to safely and correctly draw blood from a vein. They were also trained on how to prepare various samples, such as blood and urine samples, for laboratory analyses. Additionally, students were trained on how to use various laboratory equipment, such as centrifuges and microscopes, for conducting laboratory analyses.
