Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Professor Dr. Kazem Nuwair Al-Zubaidi, the Guidance and Psychological and Social Services Unit completed a workshop titled “Strategies for Drug Prevention” in collaboration with the Diwaniya Education Directorate, presented by M.M. Saja Saleh Hussein and M.M. Sara Kazem Mohammed.
The workshop recommended the necessity of adopting drug prevention strategies through awareness and education about the dangers of drugs, the importance of enhancing mental health among youth, as well as activating prevention in schools and educational institutions through school awareness programs about drugs, in addition to the family’s role in prevention and activating the media’s role and awareness campaigns to spread prevention messages.
