Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jaber Al-Jubouri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Professor Dr. Silwan Ali Obeid Al-Hamzawi, the Psychological and Social Guidance Unit at the College of Science, in cooperation with the Al-Hussain Shrine, held a scientific seminar titled “Moral Values and Their Role in Human Advancement,” presented by Professor Dr. Talib Abdul-Ridha Kaitan.
The seminar aimed to raise awareness and educate about the role of ethics as a fundamental basis and to enhance cooperation and understanding among individuals, thereby reducing conflicts and promoting social cohesion.
The seminar concluded with several recommendations, including the necessity of nurturing youth and instilling the concept of moral values, identity, and citizenship in them by engaging them in cultural activities and reinforcing religious values according to the prophetic approach and the Holy Quran, as well as emphasizing the importance of the family’s role in instilling religious and moral values.
