The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Al-Qadisiyah University held an awareness workshop titled “State Employees and Public Sector Salary Law No. 22 of 2008 for New Appointees,” presented by Prof. Dr. Samir Raji Abis and M.M. Istabraq Ali Karim, with the session managed by M.M. Najah Hassan Jassim. The workshop addressed the introduction of the State Employees and Public Sector Salary Law No. 22 of 2008 and its amendments. This law aims to adjust the salaries of those covered by its provisions to ensure a better standard of living while taking into account educational qualifications, job position, geographical location, risk, years of service, and social status. The workshop recommended the need to hold seminars and awareness workshops that include an introduction to the State Employees and Private Sector Salary Law.
