The College of Arts, Al-Qadisiyah University, holds a university morning on the phenomenon of domestic violence.

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Kadhim Jabr Al-Jubouri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Nabil Omran Al-Khalidi, Dean of the College of Arts, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Arts held a university morning entitled “The Phenomenon of Domestic Violence: Its Factors and Ways to Address It.” Presented by Asst. Zainab Muhammad Hamza, the morning addressed the topic of domestic and marital violence, highlighting the causes that lead to this phenomenon within families, such as the absence of religious restraint, the lack of family dialogue, and financial and psychological pressures. It also emphasized the importance of addressing these cases by proposing practical solutions aimed at strengthening family ties and addressing psychological pressures. This enhances family stability and protects its members from slipping into the cycle of violence. It also emphasized the need for concerted community and institutional efforts to reduce the phenomenon of domestic violence and work to create a more balanced and safe family environment.
