An awareness workshop on autism, symptoms, causes, and treatment, at the College of Agriculture, Al-Qadisiyah University.

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Kadhim Jabr Al-Jubouri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Hayawi Waheed Attia Al-Juthari, Dean of the College of Agriculture, the College of Agriculture held an awareness-raising workshop entitled “Autism Disorder: Symptoms, Causes, and Treatment.” Presented by Asst. Dr. Mohammed Jassim Hussein, the workshop aimed to introduce autism, a brain development disorder that children face. Autism is characterized by difficulty interacting with others, delayed or absent language, and other repetitive behaviors. The most important conclusions are that this disease directly affects children, which is a dangerous indicator of society. Social interaction and building a healthy society are fundamental pillars of a healthy society. The causes and triggers are numerous, as are the symptoms and treatment methods. The causes may be genetic, the indiscriminate use of certain medications by mothers, premature births, and many others.
