The Department of Highway and Transportation Engineering at the College of Engineering at Al-Qadisiyah University conducted a scientific course titled “Asphalt Mix Tests” in the Continuing Education Unit, presented by M. Sahar Bassem Jawad.
The course aimed to teach how to conduct laboratory and field tests related to asphalt mixes used in road projects. The course also included an introduction to asphalt mixes, types of asphalt mixes and their components, mix design methods, laboratory tests for raw materials, laboratory tests for the mix available in the College of Engineering laboratories, and necessary on-site tests.
